Hosted by Houston Midtown, "Art In the Park: Bloom Where You Are Planted" is a fine art festival that features local artists, vendors, and creatives. Midtown Houston is an area where art thrives, and according to their website, was chosen to be a State of Texas Cultural Arts & Entertainment District in 2012.

Because this platform is centered around supporting local businesses and artists, this event is highlighted because it serves as a great time to spend time at Bagby Park with your loved ones while also investing in small businesses and artists within the community. Along with featuring local artists and musicians, you will have the chance to pick up jewelry and other accessories from vendors and participate in some outdoor art classes to satisfy your inner creative.

Open on April 2nd from 10 AM-6 PM at Bagby Park, join in on the fun and let your inner child roam free. Also, check out these links for Midtown Houston's event calendar and Instagram page.
